Hello, I’m Kirsty and I run Cookery Doodle Doo cooking classes from my home in Bournemouth. From the age of 3 or 4, I was baking at home; I loved being up next to my mum getting involved with all the ingredients and helping with the cooking. My enthusiasm for cooking and passion for food kept going through my school life and after doing a food related degree I was lucky enough to be able to have a career doing something I loved… being involved with food! I spent many years baking and making yummy baked goods for many supermarkets and food service establishments, but a real highlight for me was making my own 3 tier wedding cake! Ever since having my daughter I’ve wanted to get back into a hands-on foodie role again. The idea of teaching children how to cook and bake, as well as educating them about different foods, is important to me: Cookery Doodle Doo classes are a fantastic way to help them learn new and fun recipes in an exciting way.
