Nurseries

Cooking classes for NurseriesChildren love exploring food. Nurseries and pre-schools work with our cooking school to help children to cook from a young age and engage with the different textures, colours and smells – not to mention new flavours!

Proud of energy ball “Spider” with edible web!

Getting to grips with fruit and veg is not just a brilliant way to encourage healthy eating, but also teaches children about their world. Understanding where food comes from, how it is produced and what different cultures do with it to make delicious meals can be really exciting and educational. Some of our most popular recipes are not the old traditional you might expect! Our no-cook recipes are fun, educational and can enable your staff to do observations alongside the EYFS.

We can:
  • Be flexible. You might like to arrange a regular weekly session, a one-off class or course
  • Meet the needs of your children. We are experienced at adapting recipes for special diets – vegetarian, vegan, wheat free is not a problem.
  • Create healthy and inspiring menus. Whether you like exotic or homely our recipes are always cooked fresh and tasty.
  • Be friendly and dependable. We know how important that is in building relationships.
Our core objective as a company is to “Support and inspire children to develop a lifelong enjoyment of good food”

Primary Schools

Cooking is a brilliant skill to have and schools have an important role to play. We now realise how cooking can be a great way to boost children’s independence and long-term health.

Secondary Schools AND YOUTH GROUPS

As adults we recognise that food is about much more than fuel for our bodies – our diet can have a huge impact of our sense of wellbeing, happiness and personal appearance. Learning to cook can be a really empowering skill and build young people’s confidence as they move towards being independent and sociable adults.

We work with secondary schools, colleges and youth groups to develop a programme that is tailored to the young people and the organisation’s needs. It can be a great idea to meet the participating students first and get a good understanding of what they want out of the course, their eating habits at home and see how we can best meet their needs.

Most organisations will want a health focused course, with adaptable, affordable recipes and a lot of fun along the way!

We take pride in our work with young people and are always happy to meet in person to understand your needs and provide a bespoke service to benefit your students.
